Under the patronage of His Excellency Munir bin Ali Al-Muneeri, Deputy Executive President for Operations at the Oman Investment Authority, the Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre (OCAC) has launched its new corporate identity. This milestone reflects the Centre’s future aspirations and strengthens its role in developing the commercial arbitration ecosystem and supporting the business environment in the Sultanate of Oman.
This launch represents a pivotal new chapter in the Centre’s journey, shaping its upcoming phase through key initiatives:
Launching the Centre’s New Identity and Logo: Moving towards a more ambitious and well-established future.
Official Launch of the 2026 Amended Arbitration Rules: Aligning with international best practices.
Unveiling the 2025 Annual Report: Reviewing the most prominent achievements and milestones reached.
Announcing the Arbitration Competition and details of the “Muscat Arbitration Days 2026”: Supporting and empowering legal professionals.
The event also witnessed the signing of an agreement to design and develop a Case Management Platform. This comes as part of the Centre’s digital transformation and service development efforts, aimed at boosting procedural efficiency and elevating the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
The program included a panel discussion that highlighted the key updates in the Centre’s amended rules. Featuring a select group of judges, lawyers, and commercial arbitration experts, the session reviewed the latest developments designed to keep pace with global best practices in the field.
Through these strategic steps, the Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre continues to solidify its role as a leading institution in supporting the commercial arbitration system and enhancing confidence in the business and investment environment of the Sultanate of Oman.
