OAC and Jus Mundi Kick Off 2026 with “The Third Mind” on AI in Arbitration

OAC and Jus Mundi Kick Off 2026 with “The Third Mind” on AI in Arbitration
A strong start to 2026 for the Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre and Jus Mundi with The Third Mind – When Arbitrators and Algorithms Think Together. The session offered a detailed analysis of AI in arbitration practice— from core AI concepts and large language models to concrete use cases across the arbitral lifecycle, alongside key discussions on limitations, bias, ethics, and regulation, including the EU AI Act. It was encouraging to see arbitrators, experts, lawyers, and students engage actively with these issues, reflecting a shared understanding that AI is now an operational reality for dispute resolution. Our thanks to Dr Riyadh Al Balushi for moderating an insightful fireside chat, and to all participants for a thoughtful exchange. Building on the MoU signed between OAC and Jus Mundi in November 2025, this discussion forms part of OAC’s wider digital transformation agenda, and we look forward to deepening this collaboration in the year ahead.
